Hitachi Cyber supported a major EMEA-based bank in assessing and strengthening its resilience against ransomware threats, focusing on recovery readiness, backup integrity, and strategic restoration planning.

Overview

– Hitachi Cyber conducted a comprehensive audit of security processes related to ransomware risk, identifying key infrastructure components, recovery priorities, and the bank’s Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) within BIA and BCP frameworks. The assessment included an in-depth evaluation of the data center’s backup strategy and its ability to support secure restoration of uninfected data. We also advised on the optimal platform for greenfield recovery, designed with data center integration in mind, and developed a complete anti-ransomware strategy.
